Our foundation is driven with passion to carry forth the character traits and moral values that our namesake Desmond Doss exemplified by his incredible acts of heroism and compassion on the battlefield and his humility and kindness during his post military life relationships. Desmond’s love for all he came in contact with is the key hallmark of this amazing Hero.

In fulfilling Desmond’s dream of inspiring young people to live a positive character driven life, the Desmond Doss Character Development Edusodes are aimed specifically at young people.  To this end we are committed to Carrying Forward Desmond’s legacy for the youth of today, and generations to come – to “LiveLikeDoss™”

Additionally, we are supporting causes for Veterans and 1st Responders, who put their lives on the line every day to protect us.  We help blinded and vision-impaired American Veterans live more independent and fuller lives, empowering dignity, self-reliance, and provide extensive E-bereavement resources for families that have suffered a loss of a family member.

Thank you to Roger Rustad, our Director of Veterans Affairs for shepherding the application and set-up process for an individual who wants to donate their vehicle to the Desmond Doss Foundation.

CarEasy.org is the entity that handles all the logistics for one to easily and painlessly donate their vehicle. In a nutshell, the cars are picked up, sold and the charity gets a check… it is a 30/70% split after expenses.  The DDF receives 70%.  It is NOW set up for multiple ways with donation options: Cars, Boats, Planes, Stocks, Real Estate etc.*
