This award-winning championship layout is Paiute’s original course, storming in at 7,146 total yards from the professional tees. The traditional Pete Dye design, challenging but enjoyable, has railroad-tie-bunkers – most golfers feel Snow Mountain is the best course of Paiute Golf Resort. Golfers of all skill levels will enjoy this course with its four tee options.
The Desmond Doss Memorial Golf Tournament (DDMGT) is the Foundation’s Key Charity Fundraising Event, enabling it to continue to carry forward Desmond’s legacy & Values through the new video series “The Desmond Doss Edusodes.”
The DDMGT travels around the country, similar to the U.S. Open, and is held yearly at a 5-Star destination, inviting individuals to participate as players or become a Patron Sponsor of American Veterans 1st Responders. Teachers and the local community come together to celebrate the heroism and values of Medal of Honor recipient Desmond T. Doss.
Our goal is to always make this event one of the most respected and prestigious amateur tournaments in America. Every participant will leave with a deeper understanding of Desmond’s values of patriotism, morals and unconditional love for all.
Desmond’s deeply held post-war passion was to inspire youth to become the next generation of solid citizens, while bringing hope to his fellow Veterans. The Doss Foundation has taken Desmond’s lead, and in partnership with the Medal of Honor Society, is fostering programs designed for youth leaders and educators across the country to mentor young people with constructive direction in their lives, thereby instilling in them the following character values:

DDMGT Participants will have the rewarding experience of being part of this “above & beyond” and “inside the ropes” experience, which will bring a greater understanding of the Doss Foundation and its mission and initiatives.
